The “Japanese employment style practices” is strictly peculiar to Japan and different from employment systems in other countries. For Japanese people it is usual to work in one enterprise permanently and to increase their wage in proportion to their age. However, these practices are unusual in other countries. Although, in the past, Japanese employ system was effective to promote economic growth, on recent economic situation in Japan there are many problems occur due to this system. Some of problems will be more serious in the future. The purpose of this paper is to explain Japanese employment system and to think problems. This paper focuses on current problems in labor market and suggests possible solution to improve labor market in Japan.“The Japanese Employment System” was written by Marcus Rebick explains Japanese employment system in detail. The book “Change In The Permanent Employment System In Japan” mentions permanent employment which is one of the Japanese employment system. The paper titled “The End of Japanese-Style Employment?” states that Japanese-style' employment is confronting serious challenges. These sources seem to useful to write my paper at this point.
